Privacy
Short version: files you open here are read by your browser and never sent anywhere.
The web viewer
When you drop or choose a file on a viewer page, your browser reads it and draws it on your device. The file, its name and its contents are not sent to us or to anyone else. Closing the tab removes it from memory.
This website
The site is static pages served by Cloudflare. It sets no cookies of its own and loads no advertising or social trackers. Cloudflare, as the host, processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse, and may give us aggregate visit counts without cookies.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
The app
The phone app has its own privacy policy, which covers ads and the anonymous usage counters it keeps: STL Viewer privacy policy.
